Lympne Castle is a beautiful 13th century, grade 1 listed building, set high on a hill overlooking the Romney Marshes. The Castle provides a perfect venue for wedding receptions

Exclusive use of the Castle for the Marriage ceremony and reception.

As you approach the Castle through the North Gate, the Great Hall, with its huge oak doors, looms impressively ahead. You alight in the paved courtyard by the ancient wishing well and pass into the warmth of the entrance hall, where a log fire burns welcomingly.

Guests can enjoy a celebratory drink and the magnificent view from the terrace before dining in splendour in the medieval Great Hall.

The wedding party passes down the Long Gallery to the West Wing, which, with its wealth of character and atmosphere, lends itself so perfectly to the solemnity of a wedding ceremony. The Bride and Groom are welcomed by the registrar in the ante room before making their entrance.

After the ceremony guests and wedding party retires to the terrace for a celebratory glass of champagne and to enjoy the view. The sun warms the ancient flagstones of the terrace, conversation flows and photographs are taken - the atmosphere is convivial. The guests are invited through to the mediaeval Great Hall for the Wedding Breakfast.
